Father’s Day
My dad loves to read what I write, and has been asking me to compose something for him for as long as I can remember. I broke down and wrote him a poem for Father’s Day and sent it to him since he is currently in Los Angeles. When I talked to him on the phone this morning he said, “this is the happiest I’ve ever been on Father’s Day.”

People need to be encouraged. People need to be reminded of how wonderful they are. People need to be believed in—told that they are brave and smart and capable of accomplishing all the dreams they dream and more. Remind each other of this.
